About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Head of Architecture is responsible for Indue’s Enterprise Architecture practice and for the architecture of Indue’s systems. The Head of Architecture is also responsible for Indue’s technology strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders and ensuring that technology solutions are aligned with architectural standards and the strategic direction of Indue’s products.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Develop and execute Indue’s Architecture strategy to align with the broader IT and business strategy
• Develop and present business cases for endorsement of the proposed prioritisation of research, development and resource investment from an information technology perspective
• Support pre-sales activities with internal stakeholders and perspective clients
• Leadership of the functional area, including development of a collaborative department culture

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to provide effective strategic leadership at a senior leadership level and within this, to effectively lead and manage a department to deliver on business priorities.
• Solid background in managing and/or directing an Architecture Practice, with a commensurate level of expert technical, functional and technology knowledge, and demonstrated ability to drive and deliver the information technology vision and roadmap to fulfil business, technical, client and commercial priorities.

About the Role

The Head of Security role is focused on protecting Indue’s customers from security incidents. In this role you will lead Indue in IT security risk management and use your strong leadership and influencing skills to collaborate with key stakeholders in the business while also leading a small IT security team.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer and working closely with the Chief Information Officer, the Head of Security is accountable for leading and managing the company’s IT security risk framework and functions. This includes:

  • Implementing the company’s IT security strategy,
  • Playing a key role in the design, implementation and operation of Indue’s security processes and controls, and
  • Overseeing key security projects and contributing to the strategic development of security within the business.

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective strategic leadership at a senior leadership level with an emphasis on IT Security, and/or PCI.
  • 5 plus years’ experience in a similar senior role
  • SABSA and CISM certifications.
  • Significant experience managing incident response required

Business Analyst (11 Month FTC)

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager Business Analytics & Financial Crimes, the key element of the Business Analyst role is to undertake detailed analysis of business and user processes, systems and requirements to support the delivery of our NPP Fraud project and transition the project into an operational state.

The Senior Analyst will work closely with all relevant stakeholder groups, particularly Project Managers, SME’s and ensuring they are effectively engaged and informed throughout the project timelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking detailed NPP analysis and design activities
  • Documentation and evaluation of existing business processes and procedures before providing recommendations
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert identifying and evaluating Financial Crimes requirements and risks as they relate to system capabilities and client requirements. This includes identifying new requirements related to NPP such as Fraud Rules, Sanctions, AML, Reporting and Analytics to support an existing high performing Financial Crimes operation
  • Develop appropriate control measures related to the delivery of Financial Crimes
  • Perform analysis and map appropriate data between multiple existing databases, new systems and recommend appropriate business changes
  • Develop process, procedure and documentation to support the operational delivery and handover from the NPP project implementation to day to day operational staff. You will be directly responsible for ensuring process and procedure replicates existing streams processes and procedures, process flow makes logical sense and where additional business teams meet the handover is smooth and the appropriate data delivered.
  • Deliver in conjunction with the training manager training to Financial Crimes operational staff upon implementation and handover to operational Financial Crimes teams

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Relevant formal qualifications such as Business, IT or relevant equivalent experience
  • Core banking system experience with exposure to payment message (ISO8583/AS2805)
  • Real time payments experience is required
  • Strong BA experience with an emphasis on requirements gathering, detailed design, functional specification and stakeholder management is required
  • Experience working within a financial crimes environment with emphasis on Fraud, AML/CTF, Sanctions & KYC is required
  • SWIFT messaging service and ISO20022 knowledge or experience is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage varied client and stakeholder relationships and manage expectations
  • Strong ability to effectively elicit, interpret, analyse and translate complex business information from stakeholders into documented solutions
