About the Role

Reporting to the responsible Executive, the key element of this Brisbane based role is to lead the multi-channel financial crimes monitoring and management centre of excellence through a transformational phase over the next 3 years.

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Ideally 15+ years’ experience leading teams within fraud and AML/CTF management in a large Financial Institution (international experience highly regarded)
  • A passion for B2B customer engagement; a strong customer centric cultural influencer
  • Proven leadership capability in operational, fraud management and AML case investigation, analysis, rule development and reporting environment
  • Experience with financial crimes thought leadership, industry and regulatory engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage varied client and stakeholder relationships
  • Experience managing large outsource vendor agreements/SLA’s would be ideal

About the Role

The Business Analytics & Financial Crime Senior Analyst plays an important role in assisting Indue to deliver Fraud & Anti-Money Laundering services such as reporting, analytics and resolve complex fraud issues for our programs. This role requires the incumbent to have experience in managing analytical systems and a deep understanding of data and how to manipulate it.

Reporting to the Team Leader Business Analytics & Financial Crimes, the Senior Analyst role requires the incumbent to identify concerning behaviour and develop recommendations in accordance with relevant procedures, including investigating any fraudulent activity and support the compliance function involving merchants and cardholders.

The role is responsible for undertaking data analysis, reviews of reporting and systems and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of detection rules, processes and systems that support the analytics functions. In addition to having a highly detailed understanding of current and changing trends to ensure best practice when identifying, investigating and recommending actions within the role.

About You

You will possess at least 5 years’ experience in a similar Fraud and AML data analysis type role preferably gained within the banking/financial or corporate environment. You will also understand multiple payment streams and have experience in mitigating risk within them.

Your experiences will encompass exposure to large datasets and experience within data platforms, have worked on automation and you will be an expert with the fundamentals of SQL, SSRS, Excel and Tableau while having the ability to interpret emerging trends and apply the appropriate measures to minimise risk. Advanced skills in Proactive Risk Manager, Machine Learning using supervised learning models in R/Python, Microsoft Access or Splunk are highly preferable.

You will also have an advanced capability using Microsoft Office and learning management systems. Your attributes will naturally produce output with a high attention to detail, have strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills. Your work style will encompass excellent stakeholder management capability with commitment to ensuring high levels of customer service. You are also a proactive team member with a solutions focus.

Exposure to supplemental systems such as Visa Risk Manager, RSA 3DSecure and payment gateways are a plus, but not required.

You’ll demonstrate a collaborative, team player approach where working relationships are built on a foundation of trust and delivery. About the Role

As an Agile Product Owner at Indue, you will join the Product & Marketing team which provides the end-to-end product management and product marketing capability for new and existing products.

Your passionate and solution focused approach will help drive feature implementation as a single voice among Scrum teams to ensure solutions effectively address product/client priorities whilst maintaining technical integrity.

Your ability to develop strong technical knowledge of new and existing products will ensure the product backlog is well-defined whilst working collaboratively in the Product & Marketing team to ensure prioritisation is effectively maintained in line with the product roadmap and organisational strategies.

You will also oversee and provide effective ownership in the end-to-end product delivery including solution development and product enhancement. This encompasses:

  • Gather, define and prioritise product and customer requirements to provide accurate input into the product roadmap planning process and ensure quality and on time rollout of features and/or product releases
  • Ensuring the full engagement of all product stakeholders throughout the technical development process, defining product development iteration objectivities, managing product release schedules, and interfacing with the project management and professional services teams throughout the project
  • Work with technical and non-technical internal groups to ensure features and user stories effectively reflect the functionality requirements and meet target market needs
  • Provision of quality training to clients/users that enables optimisation of the product
  • Resolve and respond to product questions from sales, channel partners and end user clients

    • 2-3 years’ experience as a Product Owner practicing in an Agile software development methodology
    • Comprehensive experience developing and effectively maintaining product backlogs
