The cashless debit card looks and operates like any regular bankcard. It can be used nationwide at any physical business that accepts EFTPOS. The cashless debit card can also be used to pay utility bills, mail ordering, online shopping or over the phone purchases.
Some merchants may sell prohibited goods, but will have the terminals that sell prohibited goods blocked from accepting the cashless debit card. The card may then be accepted at terminals not selling prohibited goods.
For online merchants, Indue has a list of approved merchants.
If you would like a merchant added to the approved online merchant list, please contact us. or the Department of Social Services on 1800 252 604, noting the online merchant must not sell prohibited goods.
