Long known as the voice of current affairs in Queensland, Madonna King’s experience in media and politics makes her a thought-provoking and entertaining host for Indue’s annual Leadership Forum.

An award-winning journalist, author and commentator, Madonna led the top rating current affairs program on the ABC for six years and spent many years in the Canberra press gallery reporting and interpreting politics.

Madonna writes for the Sydney Morning Herald Good Weekend magazine and is a regular columnist for Brisbane Times. Previously, she has worked in senior roles at The Australian, The Daily Telegraph and The Courier Mail.

Her fifth book, Not Your Average Joe, a biography of Treasurer Joe Hockey was published last year, and in 2013 she authored the biography of Clinical Immunologist and Inventor of the Cervical Cancer Vaccine, Ian Frazer.

She travels around Australia moderating hypotheticals and debates on topics as varied as leadership, education, politics, business, resources, the law, tourism and the environment.
